Arahaṃ sammā sambuddho bhagavā
El Bienaventurado es un arahant perfecta y completamente iluminado,
The Lord, the Perfectly Enlightened and Blessed One —
buddhaṃ bhagavantaṃ abhivādemi
I render homage to the Buddha, the Blessed One.
Svākkhāto bhagavatā dhammo
The Teaching, so completely explained by him —
dhammaṃ namassāmi.
I bow to the Dhamma.
Supaṭipanno bhagavato sāvaka-saṅgho
La comunidad de discípulos del Bienaventurado practica bien,
The Blessed One’s disciples, who have practised well —
saṅghaṃ namāmi
I bow to the Saṅgha.

Recollection of the Triple Gem
Itipi so bhagavā arahaṃ sammāsambuddho
Así es el Bienaventurado, un Arahant, perfecta y completamente iluminado,
The Tathāgata is the Pure One, the Perfectly Enlightened One,
Vijjācaraṇa-sampanno sugato lokavidū
Ejemplo de sabiduría y santidad, afortunado, conocedor del universo Anuttaro purisadamma-sārathi Insuperable guía de personas por adiestrar
He is impeccable in conduct and understanding, the Accomplished One, the Knower of the worlds.
Anuttaro purisadammasārathi satthā deva-manussānaṃ buddho bhagavā ti
Insuperable guía de personas por adiestrar. Maestro de dioses y humanos, el Buddha, el Bienaventurado.
He trains perfectly those who wish to be trained. He is teacher of gods and humans, he is awake and holy.
Svākkhāto bhagavatā dhammo,
El Dhamma está bien expuesto por el Buddha,
The Dhamma is well expounded by the Blessed One,
Sandiṭṭhiko akāliko,
Es visible aquí y ahora, atemporal,
Apparent here and now, timeless,
Ehipassiko opanayiko
Para venir y verse, fuente de progreso,
Encouraging investigation, leading inwards,
Paccattaṃ veditabbo viññūhī ti.

To be experienced individually by the wise.
Supaṭipanno bhagavato sāvakasaṅgho

They are the Blessed One’s disciples, who have practiced well,
Ujupaṭipanno bhagavato sāvakasaṅgho
La comunidad de discípulos del Bienaventurado practica con rectitud,
Who have practiced directly,
Ñāyapaṭipanno bhagavato sāvakasaṅgho
La comunidad de discípulos del Bienaventurado practica metódicamente,
Who have practiced insightfully,
Sāmīcipaṭipanno bhagavato sāvakasaṅgho
La comunidad de discípulos del Bienaventurado practica correctamente.
Those who practice with integrity
Yadidaṃ cattāri purisayugāni aṭṭha purisapuggalā
Es decir, los cuatro pares de personas santas, las ocho personas nobles.
That is the four pairs, the eight kinds of noble beings.
Esa bhagavato sāvakasaṅgho
Ésta es la comunidad de discípulos del Bienaventurado.
These are the Blessed One’s disciples.
Āhuṇeyyo pāhuṇeyyo dakkhiṇeyyo añjalikaraṇīyo
Digna de ofrendas, digna de hospitalidad, digna de regalos, digna de reverencias,
Such ones are worthy of gifts, worthy of hospitality, worthy of offerings, worthy of respect,
Anuttaraṃ puññakkhettaṃ lokassāti.
Insuperable campo para el cultivo de acciones buenas en el mundo.
They give occasion for incomparable goodness to arise in the world.
